Robert Pattinson will not collaborate with musical group Death Grips for a film project, published Robsessed via Pitchfork on Oct. 17. Earlier that same day, Pigeons and Planes reportedly received a letter informing of an upcoming film called “Misoneism” that would be made by Zach Hill.
This is a message from DEATH GRIPS … Zach Hill is currently wrapping up a short film he directed with an OST by DEATH GRIPS. The film is entitled Misoneism, is shot entirely in monochrome film, and follows the exploits of a young man forced into the underground prostitution business in Brazil. Starring Robert Pattinson and Colin Hanks, the film hopes to shed light on the matter in a shocking and abrasive way,” stated the letter sent to Pigeons and Planes.
Death Grips has supposedly contacted Pitchfork to deny their involvement with Robert Pattinson in an upcoming film project.
… the band tells Pitchfork that none of this is true. There is no short film directed by Zach Hill and starring Robert Pattinson. They don't know who sent the letter,” Pitchfork said of Death Grips' response to the news.
One may surmise there is a real film called “Misoneism”, probably made without Zach Hill, and its creators correctly thought that faking a press release associating the film with Robert Pattinson would make them more money.
Robert Pattinson is currently training for “Mission: Blacklist”, an intellectual military drama set for a 2014 release.
