"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson is already generating Oscar buzz for his role in the upcoming "Water for Elephants." The film, which has yet to be released co-stars Oscar winners Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz.
Robert Pattinson's name is being mentioned in Oscar talks. The "Twilight" vampire, who is famous for portraying hunky Edward Cullen may see his career jump to a whole new level if the Oscar talk continues.
The film "Water For Elephants" is about a young man who, Jacob Jankowski, played by Pattinson, who drops out of veterinary school to join the circus. He falls for a beautiful circus performer (Reese Witherspoon,) and tries to protect her from her abusive husband.
Pattinson's co-star Christoph Waltz revealed what he did with his Oscar statuette saying, ‘It's in my house,’ Christoph said when questioned on his gong, ‘but the way things are looking, I might have to hand it off to Rob next year!”
However, Waltz isn't' Pattinson's only fan. "Water For Elephants" author Sarah Gruen recently revealed she's his number one fan after watching him in action.
"I think Robert Pattinson is really going to shine in that role. He’s so dedicated,' she said in an interview with The Dallas Morning News. "This was a rough-and-tumble shoot, and when I was there on the set, he’d be lying in the dirt for 18 straight takes in a row, and he would nail every single one."
