Robert Miano attached to the new family TV series "The Sparrows"

Nancy Criss, Nandar Entertainment, has announced Robert Miano as Gus Sparrow in the new family-inspirational TV series, The Sparrows.

Robert has starred or co-starred in over 100 feature films with great actors like Al Pacino and Johnny Depp. He co-starred in Dungeons & Dragons with Jeremy Irons and he co-starred with Christopher Walken and Benicio Del Toro in The Funeral. In addition, Robert guest-starred on several television shows including Frasier, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, The Young and the Restless and General Hospital, among others.

The Sparrows focuses on the "Sparrow" family and how they deal with a devastating personal tragedy. Mike Sparrow, a middle-aged executive leaves his world in Los Angeles and reluctantly moves with his two daughters to his estranged father's (Gus) ranch in Arizona. This TV series will bring solid, family-oriented story lines that carry rich messages of hope and inspiration, such as The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie.

Written by award-winning screenwriters Kenneth Lemm and Jane L. Fitzpatrick, this series is directed by Nancy Criss with Executive Producer, R. Glenn Brannan. Inspirational and Spiritual, the series includes wisdom by a Native American traditional Chief, Whispering Raven (as a horse whisperer), and many talented actors and stars. Along with Robert Miano, talent includes child stars Nicole Criss, as Emily Sparrow, Chalet Brannan, as Anjela Sparrow, and Mandalynn Carlson, with special appearances by Terri Minton, Teri Lee and many more.
