Robert Downey Jr. gives nothing but props for Captain America’s lead actor Chris Evans. Both actors were at the Captain America premiere in Hollywood on Tuesday talking up the movie, but it appears that Downey Jr, truly respects his cast mate and is hoping Evans will be wildly successful with the film.
"First of all look at the man's profile, very handsome. Second of all he’s a very capable actor,” said Robert Downing Jr. “And third of all a much beloved superhero from the Marvel universe.”
Being that Robert Downey Jr. has been in a lead role of a super hero (like Ironman) there isn’t any doubt the actor understands what is riding on the box office opening numbers for a career. While the movie is done, the response from the public is what sells tickets.
“Evans has had a nerve-racking summer up to this point, up until this night. You start to get this feedback and people are saying this really works. We are happy, the reviews are good and the numbers are good,” stated Robert Downey Jr.
While the reviews haven’t all come in and the fans haven’t weighed in on their take, but if the movie premiere response has any weight at all, the audience is going to love this film.
