You can see a parade of HGTV and DIY celebrities like Vern Yip, John Gidding, and Chip Wade, on weekends at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival this year, and there's also a full contingent of experts who share their knowledge every day.

The daily experts might not have TV shows, but they do have extensive backgrounds in topics related to gardening. Stop by the Festival Center between Mission: Space and Ellen's Energy Adventure to rest your feet, enjoy the air conditioning, and learn some new skills. You might even get a souvenir to take home with you.

To get a flavor for what these presentations are like, click the video accompanying this article to hear from Robert Bowden of Leu Gardens in Orlando. During the festival's opening weekend, he talked about the top gardening trends and they can be implemented at home. At the end, he led the class in planting some take-home greenery.

These talks at Epcot are free, but seating space is limited, and it's first come, first served. Get into the line-up early to make sure you'll get a seat.

The same is true for the celebrity speaks. To see what that's all about, jump to this article for a video of Vern Yip and the complete celebrity schedule for 2014.
