Robbie Gurlik's A Luta Video premiered at the Charmcity Skatepark Video

"I started filming for the video in 2007 and it took the better part of 5 years to complete. The filming was done in the streets of the Annapolis/DC/Baltimore area. The film features local skateboarders Ben Walters, Alex Johns, Christian Battung, Ty Henderson and myself. The project was filled with blood sweat and tears. I went through 5 cameras in the process. There were always the days where we struggled to film any clips and felt like giving up, which is where the name of the film stems from. "A Luta" can be translated into "the struggle" in Portuguese and then there were the days where we would stack 5-10 clips. All in all it was a fun ride and I look forward to the next one, A Luta Continua." - Robbie Gurlik film maker/skateboarder
