Two men were shot early Tuesday morning outside a DeKalb County strip club — and police said one was a robbery victim who attempted to flee and the other a suspect who may have been shot by his partner.

The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. outside Strokers on Brockett Road, according to DeKalb County police.

Investigators said one man was robbed by four men outside the club.

“When the victim attempted to flee at least one of the suspects fired several rounds at the victim, striking him in the arm,” police spokeswoman Ms. Mekka Parish said.

Officers heard the gunshots and saw the suspects fleeing the scene in a vehicle, Ms. Parish said. But once they realized the officer was behind them they abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot, she said.

One suspect was immediately taken into custody and a second suspect was located inside the Carriage Oak Apartments, Ms. Parish said.

“The second suspect had a gunshot wound to the leg, apparently struck by his accomplice’s gunfire or accidently self-inflicted,” she said.

Police were still searching for two more suspects late Tuesday. None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening, Ms. Parish said.
