According to Design and Trend on Saturday, reports indicated that a robbery scene has already been shot for the "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice." A short time ago, sources indicated that convenience store locations were being scouted as venues and have now found the ideal store location. Also, it's been revealed that future locations in Illinois and Michigan as well.
Talks about shutting down train crossings, filming at the Detroit courthouse at night, and there talks about a helicopter landing on the COBO Center in Detroit and blowing a hole in the roof. Unfortunately, the higher ups at the venue did not want that to happen regardless of the studios assuring them they would repair the damage. That being said, it looks like they had a back up plan to shoot the same scene in Chicago. On top of that, it was mentioned that the Masonic Temple in Detroit would be put to use for the film project.
It's also anticipated that Gal Gadot's costume would be in line next for its own reveal following Ben Affleck's Batman suit. To get an idea of what it looks like, a comic book fan would have to take a gander at issue number 600 of "The All-New Wonder Woman" publication. Rumors indicate that Gadot's costume will follow along the lines of the new "Wonder Woman" comic book as it follows J. Michael Straczynski’s and Phil Hester’s story line. If one does take a look at an issue, it's not of the typical traditional revealing costume, but more along the lines of a pair of pants and jacket.
Considering Snyder is following a more "grittier" tone for the DC Cinematic Universe, it would make sense to have such attire for the film. The look, if used in the movie, would have more of a tactical feel to it and it is suggested that the typical Wonder Woman costume wouldn't be a good fit for the theme of Snyder's project and may even be considered exploitative.
"Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled to open in theaters come May 6, 2016.
