Saturday night, April 26th in Port Hueneme, California, Denver’s own Rob ‘Red Hot’ Frankel (32-14-1, 6 KO’s) takes on the highly touted undefeated prospect Jose ‘El Chon’ Zepeda (19-0, 16 KO’s) at the Oceanview Pavilion, in a scheduled for 8 rounds light welterweight bout.

Pegged as a ‘knockout artist’, the 24 years-old Zepeda is looking to further bolster his image by taking on experienced fighters none more experienced and battle tested than Frankel, who on more than one occasion has been underestimated.

This fight is an important one for both fighters and will be on the televised portion of the Solo Boxeo Tecate Unimas fight card, viewed here in Denver beginning at 10 p.m. on Channel 14 (KTFD) Dish Network.
