Rob Pattinson to go 'Western' in new cowboy movie with Hugh Jackman

Vamp man Robert Pattinson is beginning to look beyond the sunset of his Twilight flicks and into different genres like the Western he's set to star in with Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman.

“I’m doing a movie (with Uma Thurman) called Bel Ami in February," the 23-year-old actor told MTV News. "An adaption to a Guy de Maupassant novel."

Adding, "And I’m doing - I hope - a Western with Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman called Unbound Captives sometime around there as well. They’ve got to try and juggle things around until everybody’s schedules work.”

Jackman, 41, was crowned People's "Sexiest Man Alive" last year and said in a past interview with FemaleFirst, "I thought there were thousands of other guys that deserved it." 

Suggesting to FemaleFirst he was ready to shake the title, might prove plausible while starring next to the younger Pattinson, who admits he’s nervous about being cast in big-budget movies.

Even still, for R.Patz, who's been told to enjoy a friendly workout competition, starring next to Hugh may prove interesting. At 41, Jackman says he's still got what it takes to ramp up for his roles.

"I do an hour and a half a day in the gym and eat a thousand calories more a day than I would normally," Hugh told Men's Health magazine. "And I train really hard. I crank up the Godsmack and Metallica," he said quoting his favorite songs."I yell and scream, which helps me get into the character and have a bitch of a workout."
