It’s Happy 50th Birthday to actor Rob Lowe. The former "West Wing" and “Parks and Recreation” star celebrates the big 5-0 on March 17, but ahead of the hoopla he shared a funny tweet about his milestone birthday.
On March 15, Lowe tweeted a photo of sidewalk art in New York that boasted a picture of him with a “Welcome to the Club @AARP” message. The hashtag was #Boomers50.
“Soho sidewalk! What does it say when one's birthday becomes "street art" on the other side of the country?” Lowe wrote.
The actor is kicking off his new decade with a new tell-all memoir. In an excerpt from his new book “Love Life,” posted last week by the New York Post, Lowe dished on a date he had with Madonna back in 1984.
"She had flawless skin and eyes that imparted secrets," Lowe confessed in the book, before revealing that the Material Girl decided to dance the night away at a crowded club in lieu of sneaking off with him for some private time.
As for turning 50, Lowe previously told People, "The candles on the cake mean absolutely nothing. "It truly is about how you lead your life and not how much life is led."
