Rob Lowe stars in 'Prosecuting Casey Anthony' on Lifetime TV

"Prosecuting Casey Anthony" debuts on Lifetime TV on Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The Lifetime Original Movie stars Rob Lowe as prosecutor Jeff Ashton. The film is based on the best-selling book Imperfect Justice: Prosecuting Casey Anthony by author Lisa Pulitzer.

The case of Casey Anthony and the disappearance and death of her daughter Caylee Anthony riveted the nation. Lowe stated that the case seemed like a slam-dunk and it was difficult to understand the jury's "not guilty" verdict. Rob Lowe can currently be seen on the NBC comedy "Parks and Recreation." He recently appeared on three episodes of Showtime’s "Californication." Lowe's television credits include the ABC drama "Brothers & Sisters" from 2007–2010 and the hit NBC drama "The West Wing."
