Rob Floyd's Sold-Out Cocktail Theatre Returns To 41 Ocean

After a successful and completely sold-out first Cocktail Theatre featuring the story of a luchadore, bunny, and an angry fairy, 41 Ocean’s National Director of Mixology, Rob Floyd, is at it again with his next unique show, “Salute to Bikinis and Beach Bums”, exclusively held at 41 Ocean on Friday, July 11th.

As a world-renown mixologist, Rob has been performing his Cocktail Theatre shows for the past two years, selling out in places like Los Angeles, New York, and Las Vegas, and he’s scheduled for more shows in Mexico City and even Tokyo. This educational tasting series that Rob describes as a cocktail show with “elements of the History Channel meets ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’” is beyond entertaining and allows for a fun night with the opportunity to learn about the history of mixology. One of the best parts of cocktail theatre is receiving the chance to taste all of Rob’s unique-hand crafted drinks, served consistently throughout the entire show!

Rob Floyd currently designs eight national cocktail programs generating over 20 million dollars a year. He has been featured in Wall Street Journal, Times of London, People Magazine (4 x’s) Maxim among many other outlets. He has appeared on major TV programs such as FOX, CBS and NBC. Named a top mixologist in Black Book magazine in 2008, he helmed programs from the world famous Chateau Marmont, The Library Bar at The Roosevelt, Scott Conant’s Scarpetta, The Bazaar by Jose Andres – which he took to #1 in America for molecular work and currently runs OCI’s national program as well as his company Rx Liquid Chef. Event’s he has designed for are The Emmy’s, The Oscar’s, and the Grammy’s as well as companies such as Google, Adobe, Ferrari, Astin Martin, Hennessy and Basil Hayden. He does a national radio show with Chef Jamie Gwyn, and sells out around the nation with his original work “Cocktail Theatre.”
