Reality TV stars Rob and Amber Mariano welcomed their first child Lucia Rose into the world on July 4, 2009. Rob, 33 and Amber, 30 are no strangers to reality TV, the couple first met on “Survivor: All-stars,” in which Amber won the million dollar award.
Amber Brkich first competed on “Survivor: The Australian Outback,” which aired in 2001, while Rob Mariano competed on “Survivor: Marquesas" in 2002. The pair formed an alliance on “Survivor: All-Stars,” in which Rob proposed to Amber during the May 9, 2004 finale. The couple then competed on the seventh season of “The Amazing Race” as an engaged duo, and then married on April 16, 2005. Then in 2007, they were contestants on “The Amazing Race” for its All-Star season.
Lucia Rose Mariano arrived weighing 6 lbs., 11.5 oz. "Both mom and baby are healthy and doing great," Rob stated. "Lucia is a great eater and sleeps a lot, however she tends to be a bit of a night owl like her daddy at times," he added. "She is a perfect baby and we could not have asked for anything more. We are over the moon with happiness at her arrival!"
