Gourmet never looked so easy!
My roast beef melt recipe will transform leftover night into delightful meaty decadence.
This recipe is great for personal pleasure, for your family’s weeknight dinner, or for the big game.
Take one slice of bread (your choice), and lay it on aluminum foil. Next, place some raw spinach leaves on one side of the bread only; enough to cover that side.
Layer the first of the meats. Take two hard salami lunch meat slices. Fold each in half, so it looks like a semi-circle, and lay them both on top of the spinach. The next layer is Swiss cheese. Cover the salami in cheese.
Now come the roast beef slices. Layer them over top of the cheese. The last three layers are onions, sun-dried tomatoes, and more cheese. Onions add crunch and flavor to the melt, and the sun-dried tomatoes bring the meat to life.
With the cheese on top, your little mound on goodness on the bread is almost complete. Turn your oven onto broil-high. Your bread should have ingredients only on one side, with the cheese being the last layer on top.
Broil until the cheese has melted and the bread is golden. Remove from the oven.
To eat, fold the blank side over the filled side to make a sort of wrap or taco. Take a bite!
The crispy bread, warm meat, crunchy onion, flavorful sun-dried tomatoes, and gooey cheese make this meal unforgettable.
