Christmas is typically a time for rest and for family but UTSA recruitment has continued to roll as their tenth signing was revealed on Wednesday with Greg Campbell having signed on.
Campbell is currently serving as the quarterback at Atascocita, having played his senior year there, but will likely be used by the Roadrunners as a Wide Reciever, a position he played through to his junior year.
With this signing UTSA continue to bolster their stocks of receivers, with some significant losses, such as Kam Jones, coming up, it's an area the Roadrunners have chosen to focus on.
To distinguish himself from the other new receivers brought in to the side, Campbell's recruitment is all about speed, with a 4.4 time over the 50 yard dash.
Campbell has used that speed to generate plenty of yards in his varsity career, with some staggering statistics from his senior year as he managed almost 4000 yards and an amazing 43 touchdowns.
It was a vital contribution from Atascocita as Campbell's solid work lead them to the playoffs, their first appearance since 2009, and earning him district player of the year honors.
Campbell had other offers, from Colorado State, Texas State, Utah, ULM and Southeastern, with UTSA winning the battle between some good suitors.
