Four-time Grammy winner Pat Benatar and her long-time guitarist Neil "Spyder" Giraldo, who also composes and produces most of her work, are celebrating 35 years of recording music together this year. The two have combined to create seven platinum/multi-platinum albums and three gold albums, including the 1981 #1 smash Precious Time. The two have also teamed up on sixteen Top 20 singles, including the megahits "Heartbreaker", "Hit Me with Your Best Shot", "Fire and Ice", "Love Is a Battlefield", and "We Belong". Benatar's "You Better Run" was the second video ever played on MTV. Benatar released the compilation Millennium 20th Century Masters Pat Benatar earlier this year. Opener Lita Ford (pictured at left) got her start at the lead guitarist for The Runaways in the Seventies before going solo in the Eighties. The British-American rocker hit it big with singles like "Kiss Me Deadly", "Back to the Cave", "Shot of Poison", "Hungry", and the gold-selling "Close My Eyes Forever", a duet with Ozzy Osbourne. Ford took nearly 15 years off from recording to raise her two children before returning to music in 2009. Since her return, Ford has released two new studio albums, a new compilation, and most recently, a new live album entitled The Bitch Is Back...Live (out last October).
