Set out on a short road trip from the Vero Beach area and head to Central Florida and spend the day at Fantasy of Flight. This museum offers guests both fun and adventure as the explore on of the World’s Greatest Aviation Attractions. Fantasy of Flight will make any aviators dream a reality when they are face-to-face with one of the rarest planes in the world. There are so many things to see and do here, including flying in the skies along the zip line, exploring the different exhibits and learning about the history of aviation.
There are many different aviation collections on display for your to see and get up-close and personal views of antique planes. Fantasy of Flight is home to three hangars filled with 40 airplanes. Planes found at the museum include a B-26 Marauder, B-24 Liberator, Curtiss TP40 and two P51 Mustangs. There is also a B-17 Flying Fortress that was used as a bomber in World War II.
Different tours are available daily, including a Real Restorations Tour and Tram Tour. Exhibits and shows include aerial demonstrations (weather permitting), They Dared to Fly and A Passionate Pursuit.
