Howard County Recreation and Parks will be offering a Road Biking 101 Class this Sunday, May 16th from 8:30 to 12:30.
The course will cover general bike riding, safety tips, basic bike maintenance, and, integrally, how to change a flat!
Instructors are local cyclicsts, and local bike shops will be on site as well to handle any mechanical issues cyclists may be experiencing.
With many triathlons and cycling events upcoming this spring and summer, this is a great opportunity for those new to the sport or for those needing a refresher course.
Registration for the course must be complete by 4:30 pm Friday; there will be no on-site registration Sunday morning.
You can register online at Howard County's Recreation website.
