Grunauer, in the Freighthouse district, will be hosting a Riverbench Winery dinner this Saturday with special guest Laura Mohseni, general manager and major domo at Riverbench Winery, located in the Santa Maria Valley of Santa Barbara County.
On the specially prepared menu:
1st course: Riverbench Bedrock Chardonnay and Obatzda, radish, brioche.
2nd course: Riverbench Estate Chardonnay and Smelt, cabbage, Black Forest ham, garlic, lemon.
3rd course: Riverbench Pinot Noir Rose' and Spinach, lardons, shallots, raisin, rye.
4th course: Riverbench Estate Pinot Noir and Porkolt (pork stew with spaetzle and sour cream.
5th course: Stoney honey infused grappe egg nog and Meringue, hazelnut, chocolate and orange.
