Ritz-Carlton Montreal reveals five-year partnership with children’s charity

The Ritz-Carlton Montreal announced a five-year partnership with CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation this week—a local children’s charity devoted to offering mothers-to-be and children a standard of care that is among the best in the world. Over the next five years, the Ritz-Carlton will work to fulfill its pledge of $100,000 and help sustain the Foundation’s Healing More Better campaign.

The campaign has hopes to raise $150 million in donations, over six-years, to invest in teaching activities, healthcare and integrating research. With an ultimate goal of accelerating the pace of discovery, they want to ensure that Quebec children have a healthier and happier future.

“Ritz-Carlton Montreal is proud to announce our five-year partnership with the CHU Saint-Justine Foundation,” said CEO and General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Montreal, Andrew Torriani. “This is incredibly motivating for us; our entire staff is fully committed to this great cause.”

The hotel will raise money through fundraising activities and gifts-in-kind to help the Foundation lower its operating costs and the funds necessary to meet the pledge. Torriani states, “Over the next five years we will be engaging in numerous community events and activities through volunteer efforts to meet our donation goal.”

Guests at Ritz-Carlton Montreal have the opportunity to donate $1 towards the campaign upon check-in.
