Jonathan McCollum (known as Rittz) brings his OD Tour to Centerstage Bar and Grill in Kokomo, Indiana, on Friday, June 27th, 2014, featuring the inimitable, multi-talented rap/hip hop artist Tuki Carter and hip hop artist Raz Simone. Tickets are available online at Ticketrumba.com. Doors open at 6:00pm and show begins at 6:30pm.
Rittz, a rapper, is known for his collaborations with hip hop artist Yelawolf, rapper Tech N9ne and singer/songwriter/producer Mike Posner. Rittz releases material on Tech N9ne's Strange Music label. He is on tour supporting The Life And Times Of Jonny Valiant released on April 30th, 2013.
Tuki Carter is one of those rare and gifted individuals whose myriad talents inspire and influence others. He is well known and respected as a pioneer in the visual arts as a tattoo artist with his co-founding of City Of Ink in Atlanta, Georgia, with Miya Bailey (view the documentary "Color Outside The Lines", a fascinating look into City Of Ink and the art of Tattooing on YouTube here). As a rap/hip hop artist, Carter has been building an impressive musical career as well. In the mid-2000's he was a member of the critically acclaimed, multi-genre collective Hollyweerd. Carter forged ahead with a solo career when Hollyweerd disbanded and found himself on Multi-GRAMMY Award nominated Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Records artist roster. Carter has enjoyed high profile collaborations with label head Wiz Khalifa and Multi-GRAMMY Award winning Pharrell. His current single release entitled, Good featuring Wiz Khalifa, peaked at number six on the Billboard Twitter Emerging Artists Chart (view chart here). Listen to Good featuring Wiz Khalifa on SoundCloud here. As his biography states, "Through art and music, Tuki Carter has displayed that he is more than an artist, more than an album, art exhibit or tattoo. He has crafted himself into a true social and cultural influence."
Raz Simone is a hip-hop artist from Seattle, Washington. His inspiration stems from his diverse life, as opposed to any musical predecessors. Growing up, Raz did not listen to any music. It wasn't until he started writing poetry, then speaking his powerful words over movie scores that he realized he was rapping. Mixing creative foresight with entrepreneurial spirit, Raz produces, raps, sings, designs graphics and directs videos all under his independent label, Black Umbrella. Simone is currently supporting his new project Cognitive Dissonance: Part One. [from Raz Simone biography]
