According to several outlets like The Hollywood Reporter and Variety, Rita Ora will join the movie adaptation of author E.L. James’ popular erotic novels.

Ora will play Mia, the outgoing adopted younger sister of billionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan).

Ora is best known as the chart-topping musician who scored a hit with “Hot Right Now,” is often compared to singer Rihanna, and recently had a cameo in Universal's Fast & Furious 6 (2013). She was handpicked to be the face of Madonna’s fashion line “Material Girl”, and will represent Rimmel for their 2014 campaign.

James posted a picture on set Sunday, Dec. 1 via Instagram captioned “Action!” marking the start of production.

Pictures of Dakota Johnson and Dornan filming scenes at a coffee shop soon surfaced after.

Fifty Shades of Grey will follow the racy relationship between college student (Johnson) and mysterious 27-year-old billionaire Grey (Dornan).

The film also stars Eloise Mumford, Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk, Jennifer Ehle, and Max Martini.

Fifty Shades of Grey is directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, and is being produced by Universal Pictures and Focus.

The movie was pushed back from its original August 2014 release to February 2015, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
