In a written correspondence, Jamie Hall of Rising Fyre Productions, announced the following information about the pre-production of the upcoming film, "Nature of the Beast."

"Rising Fyre Productions, a Memphis, Tennessee-based film production company, today announces that they will be commencing a Kickstarter campaign to begin on May 1st, 2014. Funds attained through this campaign will be used to further develop Rising Fyre's current project, 'Nature of the Beast', a Vampire horror/suspense film.

They are currently developing their marketing and promotions strategy in advance of the Kickstarter campaign. The strategy will include producing several 15 second teasers and trailers to be released in a number of social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, as well as horror/vampire genre blogs and fanzines on the Web. This will help create a buzz and interest in the upcoming campaign. The campaign will begin May 1st, 2014.

Rising Fyre Founder and Co-Owner, J. Lazarus Hawk, along with partner Jamie Hall, says that, "This campaign is the opening salvo in our efforts to attract investors to 'Nature of the Beast'." He further stated that, "We recently have brought on board an experienced Producer and Writer, Daniel Martine. He will help shepherd this project forward as we move toward the pre-production phase".

Rising Fyre Productions is a two year old Memphis-based production company founded by filmmaker, J. Lazarus Hawk ("Morning Ritual" produced by Craig Brewer). Hawk's partners in the company are filmmaker/director, Jamie Hall, and director of photography/editor, Marcus Kent Hamson. Recently, the company premiered two films at the Tupelo Film Festival. "Cold Blooded", written and directed by Jamie Hall. And, "The Bag" written by Jason Perry and directed by J. Lazarus Hawk. The production company currently has a slate of films in various stages of development.

Daniel Martine, 'Nature of the Beast's" Producer, had this to say about his new assignment. "The script is currently in rewrite, but the story is solid and we are in the process of pre-casting some of the key roles. I look forward to working with both Mr. Hawk and Mr. Hall."

'Nature of the Beast' is tentatively scheduled to begin filming on location in Memphis, TN, in the late 1st Quarter, or early 2nd Quarter of 2015."
