Huntingburg, Indiana, native Danielle Lee has released a music video in hopes of catching the attention of country star Kip Moore. The video has racked up over one hundred views since its premiere on Saturday, March 29.
Danielle Lee, a singer-songwriter, released her self-titled debut EP in late 2013. She frequently visits Nashville, Tennessee, to write with Music City’s elite tunesmiths. The budding songstress is particularly influenced by “Young Love” singer Kip Moore.
“From a songwriting standpoint, his songs talk about everyday love and life, but he does it in a way nobody ever thinks of. His voice portrays his emotions so well, and that’s what I hope to someday achieve. He’s a good person to look up to," Danielle says of Kip Moore.
In an effort to cross paths with the country hit maker, Danielle has crafted a music video featuring a response to Kip’s chart-topping smash, “Hey Pretty Girl.” Danielle hopes that Kip will extend an invitation to meet him at his show next week with Lady Antebellum at The Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
"Being an aspiring singer and working hard to make my way through Nashville, I'd love to meet with him, write with him, and get some advice from him about songwriting, performance, and audience connection. Even if it is just a few seconds with him to say I appreciate his work or ask one question; I know he's a busy guy and I respect that,” Danielle stated.
