Rise Above Fest hits Bangor on Saturday

Bangor will be rocking on Saturday as the Rise Above Fest comes to town. South African band Seether put the festival together to raise money and awareness for suicide prevention. Suicide struck close to home for Seether frontman Shaun Morgan as his brother killed himself back in 2007.

14 other bands will be part of the festival, which will feature two stages, starting at noon at Darling's Waterfront Pavillion. Motorhead was supposed to be part of the festival, but had to cancel due to the health problems of their frontman Lemmy Kilmister.

Tickets are still available for the Rise Above Fest through Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000.

The scheduled stage times were released on Wednesday.
