Spring 2013 will be an amazing season for fashion, Project Runway Season 9 Contest Rafael Cox, began the season with his first solo fashion show “Redemption” hosted by Hot 107.9 celebrity radio personality D.J Traci Steele. Cox describes this collection as, “the rebirth of me as a Designer. I wanted to try new things and different silhouettes in this collection and push myself to be more innovative.”
The new Rafael Fashion Collection (www.rafaelcoxdesigns.com) consists of color blocking, peplum details and vibrant colors. Cox describes this collection as, “the rebirth of me as a Designer. Celebrities in attendance were, Shay Buckey from VH1 reality show, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. Kahdijiha Rowe and Sabrina Rowe from Style network reality show, Big Rich Atlanta. Bambi from Basketball Wives LA, Summer “Stacks” Smith from Ray J of Love (Season 2), Angela Watts(Celebrity/Brand Publicist), Electric Soul Singer Vina Mills, Celebrity Stylist Troi Anthoni, Celebrity MakeUp Artist Jeremy Dell and celebrity DJ Drew Baby. The finale’ of the show presented Erica Dixon from VH1 #1 hit reality show Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, as the surprise celebrity guest.
The fashion explosion will continue on March 20, 2013 as the 9th Annual Rip the Runway televised show will air on BET. This year’s extravaganza will be one that you won’t want to miss as it will be hosted by super star’s Kelly Rowland, and Boris Kodjoe who will introduce his new who will premiere his clothing line, Alfa Male, on the "Rip The Runway" stage (http://www.worldofalfa.com/).
The entertainment will be an eruption of phenomenal appearance as Jaden Smith, Meek Mills, Trinidad James Luke James, Omarion, Sevyn and the new Hit Group Watch the Duck (will perform on the RIP THE RUNWAY STAGE!
