The wait is over! The line up for Chicago's Riot Fest was announced last night and legendary band The Cure will headline along with Jane's Addiction, The National, Rise Against, Weezer, Slayer, and more. The Cure will be headlining the Denver and Toronto Riot Fest as well. Other bands slated to perform are Naked Raygun, The Flaming Lips, Metric, Motion City Soundtrack, Taking Back Sunday among many others.

More acts will be announced at a later date. Three day passes went on sale last night. While some are still available, the cheapest passes are already sold out. Riot Fest organizers will announce single day passes at a later date. The festival will be celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.

Riot Fest will be held in Humboldt Park from September 12-14. The festival serves as an alternative to Lollapalooza to appeal to rock and punk fans. To buy your tickets and to see the complete line up, visit the Riot Fest website.
