On Friday, April 11, 2014, Carlos Saldanha brings to theaters a new “Rio.” “Rio 2” finds Blu, Jewel and the three kids living the perfect domesticated life in Rio. Jewel decides the children need to learn to adapt to living like real birds which means a move to the Amazon.
Blue tries to fit in with the new neighbors, although he struggles with the thought of loosing Jewel and the children to the call of the wild.
Carlos Saldanha had the inspiration for his “Rio” franchise by living in Rio as a child and growing up there.
