Ringo Starr to perform a sold out show at Wolf Trap

Ringo Starr will get a little help from is friends tonight as he performs at a sold out Wolf Trap Filene Center in Vienna, Virginia. Ringo is bringing his All-Starr band which features Steve Lukather, Todd Rudgren, Gregg Rolie, Richard Page, Mark Rivera, and Gregg Bissonette. If you were lucky enough to get a ticket you will enjoy one of the funnest shows out there this summer.

Many fans will be coming to hear the classic songs of the Beatles and RIngo will perform enough songs from the Beatles catalog to keep them happy. He will also play some solo songs. Starr will also perform songs that highlight the careers of his All-Starr band members.

Steve Lukather is an outstanding guitarist and five time Grammy Award winner. He is best known for his work in Toto but has carved out a successful career as a solo artist and in demand session player. He earned a Grammy for his work with George Benson, earned another for his work with Larry Carlton and won three with Toto.

Todd Rundgren has been a professional musician for 47 years. He has created unforgettable songs as a solo artist, been an important member of several bands, and has become an outstanding producer. He is best known for his hits "Hello It's Me," "I Saw the Light" and "Bang the Drum All Day."

Gregg Rolie is a keyboardist and vocalist who earned a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with his work with Santana. Rolie was also a founding member of the group Journey. Richard Page was the bassist and lead vocalist for the 80s band Mr. Mister which had two number one hits "Kyrie" and "Broken Wings."

Mark Rivera is known for his sax playing and musical director leadership. He has worked with greats such as Billy Joel and Elton John. Gregg Bissonette is an accomplished drummer playing for the David Lee Roth Band, Joe Santriani, Steve Vai, Spinal Tap, and sessions for rockers and jazz.

Ringo Starr has an incredible cast of All-Starrs to support him on this tour. The sold out show should bring the best out of the band. Ringo was fab once with the Beatles. Now Ringo Starr is back to celebrate those days and create new memories which will be more than a photograph.
