Today’s birthday celebration officially crowned Ringo as the face of the Fall 2014 fashion line for men's clothing line John Varvatos. Limited edition T-shirts are available at stores selling John Varvatos merchandise. The promotion will also include donations to Ringo’s “Peace and Love Fund” (The David Lynch Foundation.) Fans who post pictures of themselves making a peace sign on Facebook, Vine, Twitter, or Instagram, using the #PeaceRocks, will have a $1.00 donation made to Ringo's “Peace and Love Fund” for every picture received through the end of 2014.

Pat Tyson was present at the event and sent Examiner her report and photos. (See slideshow.) “It was so much fun celebrating Ringo's 74th b'day at Capitol Records today,” she wrote. “John Varvatos spoke a few words and then introduced Ringo, who was there with wife Barbara Bach, Edgar & Monique Winter, Joe Walsh, and David Lynch. Ringo thanked everyone for coming and announced his new "role" as the male model for John Varvatos. He then tossed to the crowd several 'Peace & Love' rubber wristband bracelets, which the crowd happily lunged for! The crowd was then served cupcakes emblazoned with a hand in the 'peace sign' formation with 'PeaceRocks' written underneath - all thanks to the Magnolia Bakery in Los Angeles."

Many thanks to Pat Tyson for another great report and exclusive photos! (Note: All slideshow photos are property of Pat Tyson, except where noted.)
