Now that Christmas is upon us, it is time to decide what event in Nashville visitors will want to attend. Most folks will need to make reservations soon to ensure their attendance to indoor events around the city.

Over the Gaylord Opryland, guest can take a walk down the yellow brick road when the Resort throws their New Year’s in Emerald City. Guests will be served dinner and the DJ Wizard will be spinning tunes to keep folks rocking into the New Year. Space will be limited for this event, so be sure to book your space early.

Some may enjoy the bar scene of Nashville and The Tin Roof on Demonbreun will deliver. Guest will be able to participate in music by D. Vincent Williams and the Death Valley Wreckers. At midnight there will be a free champagne toast and free party favors, although there is a $20 cover charge for the event.

If people are daring enough to brave the weather and the crowds of downtown Nashville, celebrate the New Year by jamming on Broadway. The Bash on Broadway will allow visitors to enjoy free music by Hank Williams Jr., Striking Matches, Blackberry Smoke, Brett Eldredge, Robert Randolph and Kopecky Family Band. Music City has the Music Note Drop during the countdown to 2014 and fireworks.

However people decide to celebrate the New Year, be safe and have fun.
