Ring of Honor Wrestling held their annual "Supercard of Honor" show in New Orleans on April 4. The show featured Ladder Wars for the ROH World title and much more. Here is a look at the Ring of Honor Wrestling "Supercard of Honor" results for the big "Wrestlemania 30" weekend show.
The opening match was a four-way match that saw Luke Hawx, Mike Posey, Corey Hollis and The Romantic Touch battle. Posey and Hollis are former tag team partners and Romantic Touch is Rhett Titus under a mask. Luke Hawx won the match with a Blockbuster.
The Decade them fought in back-to-back matches. This faction is comprised of three men who have been in Ring of Honor Wrestling for the last decade and have a vendetta against anyone who chose to leave for more money and then come back. Neither match had anything to do with that angle.
In the first match, Roderick Strong fought Cedric Alexander in a battle of the backbreakers. This feud was based off Strong's anger that Alexander uses his finishing move. Strong won the match.
The next match saw Jimmy Jacobs and B.J. Whitmer team with young Adam Page to take on Andrew Everett, Caprice Coleman and ACH. The Decade won the match when they pinned Coleman.
In a non-match angle, Truth Martini laid out Matt Taven with the Book of Truth.
Up next, RD Evans beat Silas Young by disqualification, meaning his undefeated streak is still unbroken. Evans is starting to pick up some of the same fan support that he has in CHIKARA.
Michael Bennett beat Mark Briscoe in a no disqualification match when he knocked out Mark with repeated chair shots before locking on the Anaconda Vice.
A three-way tag team match was next between tag team champions ReDRagon, former champions The Forever Hooliganz and new tag team Raymond Rowe and Hanson. ReDRagon picked up the win.
One of the biggest shocks in Ring of Honor Wrestling happened at the "Supercard of Honor" show when Tomasso Ciampa defended his TV title against Jay Lethal and Lethal cheated to win the belt after Truth Martini came out. After the match, Lethal said "there is a house in New Orleans and it is the House of Truth," officially joining up with Truth Martini.
Michael Elgin beat Kevin Steen in the next match and that earned him a shot at IWGP champion Kazuchi Okada on May 17.
Finally, the main event of Ring of Honor Wrestling "Supercard of Honor" saw Adam Cole defend his ROH world title against Jay Briscoe in a Ladder War match. The end came when Matt Hardy and Michael Bennett interfered. Mark Briscoe tried to help his brother but ended up fighting with Bennett while Hardy helped interfere so Cole could win the match.
