RIM may be on the comeback trail with Blackberry 10

On last evening's "Technology Minute," CNN mentioned how demand and interest is very high for the upcoming Blackberry 10 smartphones and RIM may finally be back on the comeback trail. RIM is expected to introduce the device on January 30.

"I've talked to people who have seen at least one Blackberry 10 smartphone and they say it is surprisingly good," says Los Angeles industry analyst Paul Mueller. "There will be a couple different versions of the new smartphone and a tablet as well. I was glad to hear that RIM isn't giving up on the tablet market; the Blackberry Playbook was an excellent piece of hardware," Mueller continues.

In the past two years, RIM has been called "irrelevant," "fading" and just about everything else negative. People love a comeback story and the new Blackberry 10 devices may very well provide the technology comeback of the year for RIM.
