While some people struggle for years to find fame, others are born into it. Riley Keough, daughter of Lisa Marie Presley, and (obviously) granddaughter of Elvis Presley, is one of the latter. While her heritage is practically American royalty, the young actress and model is trying to make a name for herself.
Danielle Riley Keough was born on May 29th, 1989 in Los Angeles, California to Lisa Marie Presley and (then husband) Danny Keough. Riley has one brother, Benjamin Storm Keough, born October 21, 1992. In February of 2004, at age 14, Riley made her modeling debut in Italy on the Dolce and Gabbana runway. That same year, she appeared on the cover of Vogue with her mother, Lisa Marie, and her grandmother Priscilla Presley. Although Riley is only 5’7” – much shorter than her supermodel peers – her famous lineage has made her a new favorite of fashion designers around the globe.
In 2009, Riley made her acting debut in the biopic The Runaways, starring Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett, and Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie – Riley played Cherie’s sister Marie.
Up next: The Good Doctor (2011), Jack and Diane (2011), and Mad Max: Fury Road (2012).
Riley Keough Quotes:
"Music is my favorite thing in the world. I grew up completely around it and I think it's one of the most important things to me, but at this point I can't see myself doing that professionally. Luckily, for the most part, I don't feel pressured."
