Song: We Found Love
The first single off of the sixth studio album, Talk That Talk was released on iTunes on Septermber 22, 2011. Until recently, radio stations would play the song on continuous rotation and you would hear it in your favorite local bars and clubs. Today, Rihanna released the music video for the song featuring boxer turned new lover Dudley O’ Shaughnessy and now we can finally stamp a visual to the underlining meaning. In a world of not so great video's this one hits home with a story line and a message that keeps you glued. The narration at the very beginning of the video sets up the scene:
It’s like you’re screaming but no one can hear. You almost feel ashamed that someone could that be that important, that without them you feel like nothing. No one will ever understand how much it hurts. You feel hopeless like nothing can save you. And when it’s over and it’s gone, you almost wish that you could have all that bad stuff back so you could have the good.
This is definitely one of Rihanna's best video's if not a contender for best video of the year. Enjoy!
