Rihanna wows on blue carpet at "Battleship" premiere
Just one day after unfollowing ex-boyfriend Chris Brown on Twitter, pop sensation Rihanna appeared flawless on the blue carpet for the premiere of "Battleship" in Los Angeles.
Held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Thursday, May 10, the bajan beauty joined cast members Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard and Brooklyn Decker to promote the action flick set to hit theaters Friday, May 18.
Leaving little to the imagination, the "Umbrella" singer wore a revealing white gown, accompanied with minimal gold accessories and bright red lipstick, to support her acting debut. She told "Access Hollywood", "I’ve gotta hold on to my outfit a little tighter than usual."
Of her first time on the big screen, the singer said, "I didn’t know if I was gonna be any good or like it. But I tried it thanks to [director] Peter Berg and Universal, and it has been really tremendous, this experience."
New drama between Rihanna and Chris Brown: To follow or not to follow
As of late Wednesday night, Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown are no longer following one another on Twitter. (Breaking news, I know.)
Shortly after Brown released his own version of Kanye West's new track "Way Too Cold" (previously titled "Theraflu"), where he seemingly takes a shot at his old flame, Rihanna unfollowed the 23-year-old crooner.
Although Brown dated several women after Rihanna, the "Rude Boy" singer obviously took the freestyle as targeted toward her.
On the track, C. Breezy says:
“Don’t f— with my old b—– it’s like a bad fur / Every industry n—- done had her. Trick or treat like a pumpkin just to smash her / B—— breaking codes, but I’m the password.”
Once Rihanna's camp caught wind of the suggestive lyrics, the singer quickly unfollowed Chris on the social networking site. Soon after, Brown himself stopped following Rih-Rih and tweeted, "Assumptions! I didn't say any names so if u took offense to it then it's something you feel guilty about."
This sudden change of heart comes just days after Rihanna wished Brown happy birthday on May 5. Sorry fans, looks like there won’t be any more collaborations between the two anytime soon.
