While many of us have the night off on New Year’s Eve to party the night away, musicians are working hard to keep the parties rocking for everyone.
The Daily Star is reporting that Rihanna will be performing at a VIP New Year’s Eve party in Barbados, the same party that ‘X Factor’ judge Simon Cowell is said to be attending.
Rihanna will be singing for UK’s Global Radio boss, Ashley Tabor, at the lavish Sandy Lane hotel. The boyband ‘The Wanted’ is also expected to be performing at the New Year’s Eve event. A source told the Daily Mail;
“The government paid Rihanna £1.25million to perform at Barbados Carnival in August as she is obviously their biggest export. Everyone is very excited to hear that she’ll be back again so soon and plenty of the islanders are hoping to catch a glimpse of her in town even if they can’t get into the party.”
There are also reports that Rihanna will be joining the stage with Coldplay at the Brit Awards in 2012.
