Rihanna speaks out about her relationship with Chris Brown now that the two are back together again. The singer will be gracing the front cover of Rolling Stone's January issue and during her interview; she spoke out about her relationship with Brown. For the last few months, the two began to make their reunion apparent with showing their affections while out in public and posting pictures via Twitter making it apparent that the two were back on again.
After the once bruised and beaten Rihanna left Brown, but is now speaking about the two getting back together, many fans seem to have a negative opinion about the two deciding to get back together. Of course, Rihanna knows how her fans feel about the recent revelation of the reunion and the negative reactions of many and this may be why she made this comment, “Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake.”
She admits feeling the same way many others felt about the abuse, but stated, “I decided it was more important for me to be happy, I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.” Apparently Rihanna knows what she wants and what makes her happy and apparently, Brown makes her happy so she decided to give it another go.
It is Rihanna’s decision as far as who she decides to be with, like she said it’s her decision and if it is a mistake, it’s her mistake. I’m hoping at this point though, Brown has learned his lesson not to put his hands on a lady. The singer certainly made it clear that Brown does not have any room to mess up again; she simply says that isn’t an option. She seems to trust this will not be an issue.
Rihanna says they two are different from how it was before; apparently implying they two have matured a lot more from when they were in a relationship before. She says they don’t argue like they use to, the really talk things out now. The two have come to the conclusion that they have something special and don’t want to lose what they have. They have come to realize they really do value each other.
What do you think; do you feel the two have what it takes to stay together for the long haul? What do you think about the two reuniting, was it a good move for Rihanna, or possibly a big mistake?
