Rihanna says Chris Brown is a ‘Mistake’ she is willing to make

According to the stir.Cafemom, Rihanna finally opens up about her rekindled romance with Chris Brown. They have been spotted out and about together for months, but still many fans hoped they were not really an item again.

Well, in the new issue of Rolling Stone, Rihanna sets the record straight about what is going on between her and the man who once beat her.

"I decided it was more important for me to be happy," she told the magazine. "I was going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that. Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake."

Who is she kidding? Dating Chris Brown is clearly is a mistake. Not just because he hit her. It is possible that with the proper counseling, an abuser can get the help he needs to stop that behavior. But that takes a commitment and maturity that he doesn't seem to have yet.

He has so many unresolved anger issues, as evidenced by his behavior since being sentenced in the assault case. The most recent incident is not even a week old. (He reportedly got in a fight with Frank Ocean over a parking space). It is hard to forget your first real love, but she needs to wake up. This guy may not have changed.

Still, Rihanna feels like Chris is “The One for her.” "You see us walking somewhere, driving somewhere, in the studio, in the club, and you think you know. But it's different now," she insisted. "We don't have those types of arguments anymore. We talk about things. We value each other. We know exactly what we have now, and we don't want to lose that."

And she's not the least bit worried about what this will do to her image. "After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I'd rather just live my truth and take the backlash," she added. "I can handle it.
