Rihanna's tour buses stopped at Canadian border as smell of marijuana detected

Rihanna's tour buses were stopped at the Michigan – Canadian border on their way to Canada and searched after the smell of marijuana was detected in one of the buses. All 10 of the controversal singer's buses were searched and one person was charged with a civil penalty for possessing the drug, according to the Huffington Post on Wednesday, March, 20, 2013.

Rihanna was not riding in any of her tour buses, but her love affair with weed has been widely documented, so you can't imagine she'll get too upset over the buses being stopped and weed found onboard. Rihanna is not shy about her marijuana use and has posted photos of herself partaking in a few puffs from time to time.

Fiona Apple found herself in the same type of predicament back in September, but this time it was the southern border into Mexico where her tour bus was stopped. She was arrested for drug possession on her way to Mexico coming from Texas.
