Rihanna's dress shows nipples and bare behind at CFDA Fashion Awards

Rihanna accepted the CDFA Fashion Icon Award on June 2 at New York City's Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center. The celebrated singer, a known fashionista, was front and center to take the prize from Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour while wearing a frock that was totally see-through. That being said, this crystal-embedded dress was the talk of "The Talk" on Tuesday as the assorted celebrity co-hosts discussed Ri's most recent sartorial choice. At least a couple of members of the small screen panel concluded that perhaps the Barbadian beauty had gone too far with her fashion option.

Talk about showing skin. The particular piece worn by the CDFA winner was swathed in some 200,000 Swarovski pieces. However, those thousands of sparkly bits did not hide hardly any of this celebrity's personal bits. In fact, Rihanna managed to show off nearly every nook and cranny of her well toned body, including what many pundits pointed out were her nipples and her so-called "butt crack."

Although this daring dresser was clearly wearing a thong, thus covering up one aspect of her womanhood, she apparently did not try to cover up the others, thus putting her pictures in high demand while trending big time since she walked out in public wearing, well, hardly anything. Among many other sources, CNN showed a selection of the shots showing Rihanna reveling in her newest ensemble.

Meanwhile, as Rihanna's floor-length frock showed off the singer's nipples and her voluptuous behind, this artist also had on a jeweled turban and a feather boa in baby pink, both of which rocked a sort of nostalgic 1920s glamour.

To be sure, the appearance of her perfect breasts and enviable butt were thoroughly discussed on the daytime chat show with "The Talk" guest co-host saying that Ri had "crossed the line" as far as she was concerned. Colleague Sarah Gilbert begged to differ, saying what Rihanna wore was "high fashion" and, therefore, OK to flaunt for the event for which she had donned this daring dress.

As for "The Talk" cohost Sheryl Underwood thoughts on this style matter? The comedian commented on CBS on June 3 that she thought Rihanna dressed as she did for the CDFA awards 2014 because she wanted to attract the attention of former boyfriend, Chris Brown, who has just been released from jail. A few snickers could be heard as today's program headed to a commercial break.
