Rihanna gets a restraining order, reports The Huffington Post on Feb. 28. The 25-year-old pop/R&B singer received a temporary restraining order against a man who was caught breaking into not her home - but her neighbor's home. The order was granted, apparently, because the burglar thought he was breaking into Rihanna's home. The man took some of the neighbor's property and also slept in one of the neighbor's beds, believing it was Rihanna's bed. Reportedly, the man has been released from custody, his whereabouts unknown.
The problem of celebrities having to get restraining orders against rabid fans is nothing new. Lindsay Lohan did it in 2011. Kat Von D did it in 2012, as well as Blake Lively.
Of course, it's widely known that Rihanna had a restraining order against Chris Brown, who was charged with felony assault in 2009. However, the two have since patched things up and are dating again.
He's not the monster everybody thinks. He's a good person. He has a fantastic heart. He's giving and loving. And he's fun to be around. That's what I love about him - he always makes me laugh. All I want to do is laugh, really - and I do that with him," said Rihanna on Brown. "'He doesn't have the luxury of f------ up again. That's just not an option.”
