Superstar Rihanna seems to always find her way in the spotlight. The “Diamonds” singer is not only one of the more successful musical artists in the world, she is also one of the more visible stars. Like many celebrities, Rihanna has her share of stalkers, but one of those stalkers has gone too far. According to the New York Daily News on Saturday, a 53-year-old homeless man was arrested for stalking and harassing Rihanna.

The man, identified as Kevin Mcglynn, was allegedly caught on video surveillance hand-delivering bizarre letters to Rihanna’s SoHo $14.6 million duplex. Mcglynn apparently has some built in anger towards the singer, but it is unclear as to why. In one of the letters he calls her a “b—ch” on more than one occasion and threatened to “bun (rush) in her apartment.”

He has also allegedly sent the same type of threatening letters to her west coast home in California. According to Assistant District Attorney James Vinocur, Mcglynn seems to hint at having some sort of misguided relations with Rihanna. He told the judge, “The nature of these letters (is) confusing. They all do indicate a personal relationship, as I indicated before, that simply does not exist.”

Mcglynn wasn’t arrested till Thursday after making a third visit to the SoHo building on July 11. Cops were able to track him down after he dropped his benefits card containing his name and last-known address. During his arraignment he accuses Rihanna, Jay Z and Kanye West of ripping off his “material.” The bizarre and confusing claim made by Mcglynn seemingly suggests some sort of mental illness. His behavior, as well as his access to Rihanna’s home, has cause the 26-year-old singer to “fear for her physical safety.”

Mcglynn has been held without bail following his arraignment at Manhattan Criminal Court on Friday. His charges include stalking, menacing, and harassment. Police sources told the New York Daily News that the homeless man has prior arrests involving trespassing. His latest arrest may keep him in jail for quite awhile.
