You will be hard-pressed to find an entertainer who reveals as much of herself as pop superstar Rihanna.
Taking to her personal Twitter and Instagram accounts on a daily basis, it’s very easy to keep tabs with the “Diamonds” singer these days, whether she is on tour, hanging with her best friend Chris Brown, or relaxing and enjoying some down time.
As seen in a report from UrbanBelleMag.com on Monday, March 4, the Bajan songstress recently opened up about why she is so candid with her Instagram photo updates.
“Well, Instagram [is] everything about my life, whether it’s smoking pot, in a strip club, reading a Bible verse, or hanging out with my best friend, who happens to be Chris,” Rihanna stated, as quoted in a recent Elle UK interview.
For Rihanna, her attitude seems to be a way of being upfront on all levels.
“Everybody wanted to know what was happening in my life,” she stated. “Is she a drug addict? No. Is she an alcoholic? No. Is she a victim? No. That’s when I got the gun [tattoo]. It was a symbol of strength. I’ll never be a victim.
“That’s why I’m posting pictures of myself smoking pot, to tell the truth about myself,” Rihanna added. “I’ve got so much to think about, why bring all this extra sh*t by being dishonest?”
