Roses are red, violets are blue -- or are they? Rihanna posted an image on Instagram showing what she got for Valentine's Day (Thursday) from "somebody," and it wasn't a set of flowers, but instead a set of weeds.
To be honest, it wasn't a set of weeds, per se, but a set of weed. Indeed, it appears that Rihanna got a bouquet of marijuana. The caption attached to the photo, currently the latest in her Instagram feed, was:
Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy
Who exactly could have given her the weed bouquet? Rihanna isn't telling.
It seems, as well, that Rihanna was expecting the marijuana gift. The day before, on Feb. 13, she posted to an image to Instagram, with the following caption embedded in the image:
Mary Jane will be my Valentine
That image really didn't start anyone talking until her Valentine's Day post, confirming she got what she expected.
In terms of who "somebody" is, Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together, and he, therefore, is the most likely gift-giver.
In fact, earlier, Chris Brown said that t he had a medical marijuana card for the state of California, where medical marijuana is legal. The revelation came when Brown tested positive for marijuana in 2012.
However, medical marijuana card or not, Brown would not be allowed to purchase pot to "gift" to another person (meaning Rihanna).
The mystery continues.
