Rihanna has been granted a three-year restraining order against an obsessed fan, TMZ reported on Thursday, March 19.
Last month, Steveland Barrow was arrested after a botched attempt to break into the “Stay” singer’s home. He mistakenly broke into Rihanna’s neighbor’s home, admitting to authorities he thought it was the pop star’s home. He also told police that Rihanna had actually invited him into her home and that he wanted to give her some poetry. The intruder slept in a bed he thought was hers and also stole items from the home.
Rihanna sought a restraining order against Barrow following the incident and was granted a temporary one. Now a judge has granted a permanent restraining order against Rihanna’s crazed stalker, ordering Barrow not to come within 100 yards of the singer for the next three years.
No stranger to restraining orders, Rihanna was granted one against Chris Brown after he admitted to beating her in 2009. The restraining order was later downgraded prior to their reconciliation.
