While Rihanna’s “Diamonds” tour got off to a rough start due to her bout with laryngitis, the pop superstar is back on the road.
According to a report from Masslive.com on Saturday, March 16, Rihanna was inside of the XL Center last night in Hartford, Connecticut.
Rihanna had previously cancelled appearances in Boston and Baltimore before returning to Philadelphia on Wednesday. According to reports, the 25-year old singer was in great spirits while in Hartford
Reporter Donnie Moorhouse claims to have heard a little “rasp” in Rihanna’s voice, but it hardly slowed her down as she performed for an hour and 40 minutes on stage.
“This is happening,” Rihanna stated as the show kicked off. “The Diamonds World Tour is real, right now.”
Rihanna seemed thrilled to be on stage and could be found rocking various outfits throughout the show, as is often the case with her. By night’s end, Rihanna had performed bits from 26 of her tracks, including “Man Down”, “Rockstar 101”, “Rude Boy”, “Numb”, “Pour it Up”, “Phresh Out the Runway”, “Birthday Cake”, and several others.
Other reports claim that Rihanna’s love interest Chris Brown will indeed be visiting her on tour, so the news will surely continue to come pouring in.
