Friday night the internet went into a frenzy when a Twitter feud between singers Rihanna and Ciara broke out for the whole world to see, including celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
The fight started when Ciara, 25, told Joan Rivers on “Fashion Police", about her last run in with the “Umbrella” hit maker, “[Rihanna] wasn’t the nicest,” Cici stated.
The redheaded diva did not take the dig very well, she retaliated on Twitter.
“My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme”
Cici shot back, “Trust me Rhianna U dont want to see me on or off the stage.” Once shots were officially fired from both parties, the Twitter war began.
Hinting at Ciara’s downward spiraling career, and rumors the “Ride” performer is being dropped from her label, the Grammy Award winning artist shot back.
“Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of.”
In the midst of the catfight Perez, who is featured in the Bajan beauties’ “S&M” video, jumped in to defend his “Princess Riri,” and took a few jabs at the “Ride” performer.
“I'm sure your week has been difficult too, publicly proclaiming that your label doesn't support you and you want to be dropped.”
Ciarra & Rihanna quickly became a trending topic and tweeters were picking sides, and just as the feud was heating up, the “Loud” superstar called a cease fire and offered up a truce. "Ciara baby, I love u girl! U hurt my feelings real bad on TV," @rihanna stated,"I'm heartbroken! That's y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup.” The Atlanta native accepted the apology and insisted the two talk in person.
