Rihanna cuddling with Chris Brown at the Grammys. What is she thinking? (Photos)

The Grammy Awards take place every year in Los Angeles and it seems that every year since Chris Brown and Rihanna have been attending the Grammy Awards there has been some drama surrounding them. In 2009, the pair did not appear at the Grammy Awards because Brown assaulted Rihanna. The police report was very quickly published by The Smoking Gun.

Most did not approve of the Brown and Rihanna becoming friends again last year, especially not her close friend Katy Perry. Last year in 2011, Rihanna cuddled with Perry. This year, she was with seated with Brown while Perry sat with John Mayer.

With so many people against the couple being together, and Rihanna losing friends over her association with Chris Brown, on wonders what she can see in him as a friend, much less a dating partner. What can she be thinking?

In her interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Rihanna confirmed that she had taken her ex-boyfriend back into her life saying, "I decided it was more important for me to be happy. I wasn't going to let anybody's opinion get in the way of that. Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I'd rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it."

Recently the "Stay" singer has already been standing by her man's side in court. Rihanna accompanied Brown to court last Thursday, where he faced allegations that he failed to complete community service stemming from his plea bargain, and blew him a kiss from the front row.
